What results can I expect?

For many patients, photopheresis has had very positive affects. Some individuals experience decreased pain and itching, while others notice that their skin clears up entirely. In a number of cases patients are able to reduce, or stop taking, other medications that cause unwanted side effects. Remember: as with any medical treatment, it is difficult to predict the type of response you will you have and to what degree.
